Prof. Touradj Ebrahimi joins the CMTA's Executive Committee
The CMTA is delighted to announce that Professor Touradj Ebrahimi has joined the association's Executive Committee.
With his background as both a Professor at EPFL, and a founder and advisor of numerous tech companies, Professor Ebrahimi brings invaluable academic and business experience to help drive the CMTA’s mission to use technology to improve companies' access to capital markets.
Touradj Ebrahimi is a professor of multimedia signal processing at Ecole Polytechnique Fédéral de Lausanne (EPFL) where he teaches Media Security to EPFL Master students and delivers regular lectures on blockchain and tokenisation in finance at EPFL Executive Education programme. In addition to an impressive academic record, he has experience in both standardization efforts and creating and supporting tech companies and startups. He is Founder and Executive Chairman of the startup RayShaper SA, and previously worked as Director of standardization at Auditchain, a company specialized in Auditing using blockchain technologies. He holds an M.Sc. and a Ph.D., both in Electrical Engineering, from EPFL.
He joins current Executive Committee members Morgan Lavanchy, Chief Legal Officer at Swissquote and Takis Spiliopoulos, CFO of Temenos, and chair Jacques Iffland, partner at Lenz & Staehelin.
